Appearance: Like any Chandelures, she has a striped, round head, and round, pupil-less yellow eyes. She is crowned with a spiked ring over her head that is illuminated by a long endless fire. Compared to Chandelures, her appearance is a bit more refined.

Appearance: A fair young lady with long, white, wavy hair that curls into a gradient of dark blue/purple and fringed cut bangs. Often she is found accessorized with a headband and her hair up into a ponytail, along with having luminous yellow eyes that add to her pale complexion. Her taste in clothing is rather refine and elegant, often times it being different combinations of blouses, skirts, and or dresses. And completing with every outfit; a pair of gloves.

Personality: +courteous +childish +passionate -mischievous -aloof -deceiving
At first glance, Jocelyne has this refined, regal personality with a princess-like air to her and due to this upbringing, she seems to be quite aloof and cold. However, she's actually just has a very good poker face. She is also very mysterious in more ways than one as she keeps most of her personal information hidden, such as that of actually being a Pokemon.

Deceiving is a skill she has acquired quite well ever since she obtained the Dittech, and due to this, whenever she is questioned about her human life Jocelyne will show a passive-aggressive attitude and avoid the topic completely. 

Though underneath the facade, Jocelyne is quite passionate with a heart warmer then most. Often likes to joke around whenever a chance, but she really shouldn't be trusted.


History: 


What once was a gorgeous mansion standing in such elegance, now burnt to the ground, abandoned and remained untouched after centuries. The remains of something grand became the home of one who was left behind. From the dark abyss, a small flame illuminated. Awakening from many years of slumber, a Litwick wakes to nothing but silence. Unfazed by the lack of existence, Jocelyne soullessly roams what remains of her old home. Nostalgic? Can't say for sure. Whatever memories she had in her previous life was tucked away in the very flame that created her existence. Nothing was familiar, though at the same time nothing was new. 

Many years continued to pass, what seemed like centuries, but nothing as changed. More so than not, many other Pokemon joined along making this abandoned waste land a little more livelier. She didn't mind them, often times she let them be to do what they wanted and joined along whenever she felt like it. Though with the attraction of more Pokemon, of course comes more humans. Humans were an interesting entity. Jocelyne wasn't quite familiar with them, but it was almost as if she had already known them. Odd.
 
It wasn't before long where she came face to face to an actual trainer. She and the young trainer had many encounters before she ended up joining him. From then she was deemed as "Josie" and continued her life with this young trainer.

Their adventure took her to all sorts of places outside the burned down mansion she mindlessly wandering for who knows how long. Her trainer was cunning and quite smart. She came to trust him over the years as she evolved from a Litwick to a Lampent, a Lampent to a Chandelure and continued to fight side by side with him. Although, it wasn't long until their adventure ceased to its end.

Fire. A building was on fire. She and her trainer were trapped. What was up with this situation? Why did it feel so familiar? In attempts of escaping, the two were separated in the process. Having been part fire type, the fire didn't effect her as much but she had more important things to be worrying about. Was he safe? Where could he be? She searched frantically through out the building seeing whether he had collapsed somewhere. It wasn't until long Pokemon Rangers found her the the midst of putting out the fire.The Chandelure was rescued to safety, but that wasn't what she wanted! She needed to see if he was still in there. The people among her that were also caught in the fire, he wasn't to be found. She tried to go back, but the Rangers had already put out the fire.

What was with this pain? She was distraught, she felt empty. Betrayed? Abandoned?

In the midst of this loss, a women figure was watching from a far. Jocelyne didn't move from where she was, though the crowd soon began to lessen. Eventually now the remains were her and the burnt building. The womanly figure transformed into a Pokemon walked up to the fallen Chandelure and placed what seemed to be a Dittech beside her and vanished. Who was that? It seemed as if they were familiar, but she didn't seem to have taken notice of the shadow figure and what was placed beside her for her mind was else where. 

It wasn't until she gained conscience once again to take notice of the device laid beside her. She didn't really take any mind to it until she accidentally nudged it. The device began to light up. Without a second to react, she felt heavy and her head spun. Everything was so much smaller then she remembered. Wh-- she didn't have time to think because before she knew it, she had realized what she had become.

Exposed to this strange device, Jocelyne quickly learned the customs among humans and the use of this Dittech. She didn't have time to sit around and mindlessly linger for another few centuries again. Jocelyne needed answers. What have become of her trainer? Who are these "trainers" she blindly put her trust in? The curiosity expanded and what more better way to find answers than at the heart of it all? Lumiose City. 

Upon emerging into this profound life style, she needed an easier way to interact with the people she now blends in with. A job! As she began living in Luminous regularly, it was difficult finding a job that satisfied her tastes at first. She tried all sorts of part time jobs, but all didn't suit her fancy. Lumiose City was so fast paced, it tired her quite often. Eventually, Jocelyne winded herself at the foot of Stone Emporium where she took up a small part time job behind the counters. Though what thought was to be a part time job turned into smuggling of illegal gemstones. Fascinated by the high risk, Jocelyne decided to join Apellon so she continued to peruse this line of work hidden from PMA-Co's radar eventually forgetting the very reason she came to this city.

✦ When she had been exposed to the human side of the world for the first time, her first place was a casino. Will not openly express it, but Jocelyn has a fond obsession with card games/gambling. Poker being her favorite.

Role-Play Example:
Upon entering, the soft jazz music crept from behind the doors. A Bar? Not something one would expect in this area. It seemed rather empty with the exception of few or more people. What was more surprising than the lack of people was the young lady alone in the corner, shuffling a deck of cards. She did not seem the right age to be in a bar, but the only thing on the table were those cards of her's. It wasn't long before she took notice and smiled to herself. "Will you do me the honors of accompanying me in a game of Old Maid?"

Jocelyne looked up from the cards in her hands. "Oh my! Why such reluctant face, it would simply be for fun. Nothing will be wagered." Surprised momentarily, her head tilted as the tips of her lips were then restored to a mischievous smile.

Her hands began to shuffle and cut the deck in various of ways to entertain herself. There was a slight silence as she went on with her unending shuffling. Almost forgetting as if they were never there.

"I do say, it is quite fascinating how people can keep such a poker face, don't you agree?" She went on breaking the silence. "Who knows? Those among us may not even be human," she chuckled. "But of course such absurd thought cannot be true... can it?"
